Technical Services Manager
The Technical Services Manager is responsible for supervising the technical personnel, which include the Fire Safety Officer, Operations & Maintenance Officer, and the Housing Advisor.
Keys areas the Technical Services Manager oversees include, but are not limited to, all aspects of the technical unit and ensuring that all roles and responsibilities are carried out to their fullest potential; providing guidelines and procedures for the technical staff for the implementation of programs and proposals; seeking funding sources for technical training programs; providing technical support to the member First Nations; communicating with the Chief and Council at all levels to implement capital programs; and help develop future community planning and improving housing programs and infrastructure.

Housing Advisor
The Housing Advisor is responsible for advising and assisting the Island Lake communities, which include Garden Hill First Nation, Red Sucker Lake First Nation, St. Theresa Point First Nation, and Wasagamack First Nation in developing, implementing, and maintaining housing and housing related operations in their communities.
Key areas where the Housing Advisor provides assistance to the communities include, but are not limited to, monitoring incoming requests for proposals; assisting the member communities in completing proposals as requested; recommending components that are designed to identify needs, costing, and strategies for effective housing management systems; providing technical advice in the area of preparing budgets; and maintaining an inventory of suppliers, contractors, builders, and other human resource personnel.

Operations & Maintenance Officer
The Operation & Maintenance Officer is responsible for advising and assisting the Island Lake communities, which include Garden Hill First Nation, Red Sucker Lake First Nation, St. Theresa Point First Nation, and Wasagamack First Nation in implementing and maintaining the operations of their public buildings and housing.
Keys areas where the Operations & Maintenance Officer provides assistance to the communities include, but are not limited to, recommending components that are designed to identify needs, costing, and strategies for effective operations and management systems; providing technical advice in the area of preparing budgets, assets and inventory reports, and general operation and management reports related to systems management; maintaining an inventory of suppliers, contractors, builders and other human resource personnel; and advising personnel on basic operation and maintenance of electrical and plumbing systems, and water and wastewater systems. The Operations & Maintenance Officer also acts as a liaison officer between Federal, Provincial, and Local Governments.
