Programs & Services Intro
Island Lake Tribal Council was established in September 1982 as a vehicle to transfer First Nation programs and services from Aboriginal Affairs and Northern development Canada (AANDC) under their Devolution Policy. Under the national policy, the transfer of programs is guided by the criteria from which all tribal councils are funded. The components of the Tribal Council funding under advisory services are;
